![]() He brownish stains are the result of me basically using the paper as a napkin while eating chicken wings. The pages are just parchment paper which i tore to fit the dimensions of the book and to look old. The wing is from a Nightgaunt, we have a Spider of Leng, The elder sign, Cthulhu, and Lovecraft himself in a "prophetic" vision of the Necronomicon's author. In Lovecraft, ghouls are dead, or undead, humans who have de-evolved into dog-like forms - hence the human skull with a canine muzzle. Lovecraft's, though written in Arabic, was more about interdimensional, extra-terrestrial gods and monster.though both deal with ghouls. ![]() The Ex-Mortis version was based more on Arabian and Middle East ideas of evil spirits and zombies (or ghouls). Lovecraft, I enjoy both so much I decided to combine them for this prop. ![]() While the Necronomicon Ex-Mortis of the Evil Dead series of movies actually has NOTHING to do with the Necronomicon of H.P. Pages from the Necronomicon Ex-Mortis that I made for this year's Halloween season.
